Trump Celebrates 2.5 Consecutive Months Of Ending Iran War
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump on Tuesday marked what the White House called “a historic 75-day streak” of ending the war with Iran, telling reporters the conflict had now been ended more times and for longer periods than any war in American history.
Standing beside a banner reading PEACE CHAMPION and a second smaller banner reading SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE, Trump praised his administration’s handling of the still-active regional conflict, which has continued through missile exchanges, naval blockades, retaliatory strikes, emergency fuel rationing, and three separate Pentagon clarifications over whether the war technically qualifies as “ongoing.”
“We ended it,” Trump said. “Totally ended. Everybody said it couldn’t be ended this many times, this successfully. We’ve had incredible endings. Some of the best endings. Frankly, every morning I wake up and the war is ended again. Then maybe around lunchtime something happens. But we end it immediately after. Very impressive.”
Administration officials confirmed Trump has now announced the end of the Iran war 14 separate times since March, including during a UFC event, a ribbon cutting at a fertilizer plant in Iowa, and while boarding Marine One after briefly confusing Iran with IKEA.
White House Press Secretary Kimberly Guilfoyle called the repeated declarations “a proactive peace maintenance strategy.”
“The President believes in ending wars before all participants necessarily agree the war has ended,” Guilfoyle said. “That’s leadership. Weak presidents wait for events. President Trump announces the ending first and allows reality to catch up later.”
Sources inside the administration say Trump has become deeply invested in extending his personal peace streak, reportedly asking military officials each morning whether there is “anything exploding that could embarrass me numerically.”
One senior Pentagon official said military briefings have increasingly focused on helping the President preserve the streak.
“We’ve had situations where missiles were technically in the air and aides were screaming ‘hold the line until midnight,’” the official said. “At one point the Navy delayed confirming a destroyed carrier because the President was attending a charity golf event celebrating 60 straight days of peace.”
The White House has also unveiled a new “War End Tracker” on Truth Social showing the conflict ending in real time through a series of animated bald eagles carrying ceasefire agreements into heaven while Lee Greenwood music plays automatically at full volume.
Trump allies say the achievement deserves international recognition.
“No president has ever ended a war this consistently,” said Commerce Secretary Don Jr. Trump. “Obama ended wars once. Biden barely even ended afternoons. My father is ending this war almost daily. Sometimes twice.”
The administration’s official timeline currently lists the war as “ended,” “mostly ended,” “strategically paused,” “ending beautifully,” “on life support,” and “ended again stronger than before.”
Asked whether ongoing bombing runs complicated the message, Trump dismissed the concern.
“Those are celebration bombings,” he said. “Very different.”
