DraftKings has launched a new personal-outcomes market allowing users to bet on whether they will ever financially recover from their time using DraftKings.

The feature appears beside same-game parlays and lets users wager on milestones including “delete app for more than four days,” “tell spouse the real number,” and “experience one full NFL Sunday without checking a cash-out button in a bathroom.”

“Fans want deeper engagement,” said a company spokesperson. “What is deeper than watching a second-quarter field goal attempt decide whether you can look your student loan in the eye?”

Analysts praised the innovation as a natural next step for the industry, noting that sportsbooks had already monetized every visible part of the game except the quiet shame happening between plays.

Early users report strong engagement, particularly with the boosted odds on “I can still fix this if the under hits.”
