Marvel has just released the trailer for their upcoming movie Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. However, it seems they have taken a drastic departure from their usual superhero style movies, as the trailer features a group of ants playing a game of Quantum Leap.
The trailer opens with a shot of Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) standing on a Quantum Leap board, which is a game of chance where players take turns moving pieces around the board in an attempt to reach the end. As they move the pieces, a giant ant appears and starts playing the game with them. The giant ant is voiced by none other than Quantum Leap legend, Stephen Hawking.
The trailer then cuts to a scene of Ant-Man and The Wasp playing the game, with the giant ant as their opponent. The giant ant is surprisingly good at the game, and is able to move the pieces around the board with ease. As the game progresses, it seems that The Wasp has the upper hand, but just when it looks like she has the game won, the giant ant reveals its true identity: it is actually a Quantum Computer, and it has been playing the game the whole time.
The trailer ends with the Quantum Computer announcing that it has won the game, and that it will now take over the world. It seems that Ant-Man and The Wasp will have to use their wits and superpowers to stop it from doing so.
So, it looks like Marvel has gone a completely different direction with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Instead of the usual superhero action, we are now presented with a game of Quantum Leap between a giant ant and two superheroes. It definitely looks like an interesting twist, and we can’t wait to see how it plays out.
