Experts have confirmed that legendary rapper Tupac Shakur did not die from gunshot wounds but from a broken heart.
According to Dr Dre, who was present at the scene of Shakur’s death, the rapper’s heart was “literally shattered into a million pieces” when he found out that his album “All Eyez on Me” had only received 3 out of 5 stars on Pitchfork.
“Tupac was a true artist and took his art very seriously,” said Dr Dre. “When he saw that low score, it was like a bullet to the heart. He couldn’t take it.“
Other sources close to the rapper also confirmed that Shakur had been struggling with a string of bad reviews and poor album sales in the months leading up to his death.
“He was really upset about the reception of ‘The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory‘,” said Suge Knight, Shakur’s former record label executive. “He was convinced that it was going to be a classic, but it only sold 2 million copies. He couldn’t handle it.“
The news has sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community, with many fans expressing condolences for the fallen rapper and his broken heart.
“Rest in peace, Tupac. We’ll always remember you and your music,” said Snoop Dogg. “But most importantly, we’ll always remember your broken heart.“
In memory of Shakur, fans are encouraged to play his music at full volume and throw flower petals at their local Pitchfork office.
