Foo Fighters Reveal New Drummer Replacing the Late Taylor Hawkins

The Foo Fighters announced that they have found their new drummer in the unlikeliest of places: Sesame Street. And a well-known, highly proficient drummer muppet: Animal.

The band made the announcement via a tweet reading, “We’re thrilled to welcome Animal to the Foo Fighters family. We’ve always been huge fans of his drumming skills and we know he’ll be the perfect fit for us.

The news of Taylor Hawkins’ death was met with widespread grief and shock, with fans of the band questioning how the Foo Fighters would ever be able to replace such a legendary drummer. But it seems the band has found an unlikely replacement in the form of the wild-haired, wild-eyed Muppet known for his frenzied drumming skills.

According to sources close to the band, Animal was actually the first choice for the band when they were originally looking for a drummer. Still, scheduling conflicts prevented him from joining at the time. But now, with his schedule cleared and the Foo Fighters needing a new drummer, the stars have finally aligned for Animal to join the band.

The band have some upcoming dates in May, notably playing Boston Calling Music Festival. Fans can expect to see Animal pounding the drums with his usual manic energy and enthusiasm. In a statement, Animal said, “I’m excited to be joining the Foo Fighters. I’ve always been a huge fan of their music and I can’t wait to hit the road and rock out with them. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Fans eagerly anticipate the first concert with Animal behind the drums. “I can’t wait to see Animal in action,” said one fan. “I have a feeling it’s going to be one wild ride.

This news may come as a surprise to some, but the Foo Fighters have always been known for their unorthodox approach to music, and it seems that adding a Muppet to their line-up is just the latest example of this. With Animal behind the drums, the Foo Fighters will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of rock and roll and honor Taylor Hawkin’s legacy.
