Mark Holcomb, of the progressive metal band Periphery, has been reminding his fans, a devoted group of “Holcombinators”, that it’s time for some Holcombin’.
But what has everyone talking is the fact that Mark Holcomb not too long ago publicly admitted to infidelity. In a recent interview, Holcomb was asked about the incident and he simply replied, “Cheatin’ ain’t easy, but Holcombin’ is!“
“It’s Holcombin time!” he said in a statement. “I’m not going to let a little thing like fidelity get in the way of my commitment to my fans. I’m still dedicated to providing them with the best music I can make and the most entertaining live performances. That’s why I’m reminding everyone that it’s Holcombin time!“
After months of speculation and rumors of his infidelity, Mark Holcomb has finally opened up about his actions, but with a surprising twist.
“I’m not sorry for my actions,” he said in a recent interview, “I’m sorry for the way I went about it. It’s true, I did have an affair, but it was with a very special person – myself.“
When asked to explain what he meant by this, Mark Holcomb was quick to explain. “I’m sure you’ve heard of ‘Holcombin’ time’, right?” he said. “It’s something I’ve been doing for years, and it’s sort of become my own form of self-care.“
The phrase has become a rallying call for fans of the band, who have adopted it as a motto of sorts. It’s even made its way into the band’s live shows, with Holcomb encouraging the crowd to shout “Holcombin’!” as he shreds away on his guitar.
So if you’re looking for a way to get your groove on while showing your support for Periphery and Mark Holcomb, just remember – Cheatin’ ain’t easy, but Holcombin’ is!
