Local Punk Band Writes Songs About Taking Down Corporations But Members Work Corporate Desk Jobs

Local punk band, The Corporate Exterminators, has been making headlines recently for their politically charged songs about taking down corporations. While the band is beloved by their fans for their anti-establishment messages, the band members have come under fire for their own corporate lifestyles.

The band’s frontman, Eric Smith, and lead guitarist, Tim Johnson, both work as corporate accountants for a large financial institution. Smith and Johnson both take great pride in their work, and enjoy the challenge of balancing the books and ensuring the company is running as efficiently as possible.

But during the weekends, they can be found onstage playing their anti-corporate songs. Smith and Johnson defend their corporate day jobs, claiming that they are doing more good than many of the people who listen to their music.

We think it’s important to be able to provide a voice to those who feel voiceless,” Smith said in a recent interview. “We’re passionate about our music, but we also need to make a living and pay our bills.

Despite the controversy, The Corporate Exterminators have become one of the most popular punk bands in the area, and their shows are often sold out. They are currently working on their sophomore album, which is sure to be another hit with their fans.

So, while it may seem contradictory, Smith and Johnson are proud to make a living while also providing a voice for those who feel voiceless through their music.
