Horror author Stephen King recently announced the release of his latest book – a novel that he says set the record for the world’s most ridiculous plot.
The novel, titled “Cthulhu in the Cornfield,” chronicles the adventures of a small town farmer who discovers a Lovecraftian-style monster living in his cornfield. The farmer soon finds himself in a battle with the creature, with the fate of the world in the balance.
The book has already earned praise from critics, who have called it a “unique mix of horror and comedy.”
“I wanted to write something that pushed the boundaries of what’s possible,” said King. “I think I’ve done that with ‘Cthulhu in the Cornfield.’ It’s a story that’s both funny and terrifying.”
The book will be released on October 31st, which King says is the perfect day for a horror novel.
“The idea of something monstrous living in a cornfield is already a bit absurd,” said King. “But when you add in the Halloween factor, it takes things to a whole new level of absurdity.“
For fans of Stephen King, the book promises to be an exciting and unique experience. It’s sure to be a must-read for those who appreciate horror and comedy in equal measure.
