Horror author Stephen King recently announced the release of his latest book – a novel that he says set the record for the world’s most ridiculous plot.
The novel, titled “Cthulhu in the Cornfield,” chronicles the adventures of a small town farmer who discovers a Lovecraftian-style monster living in his cornfield. The farmer soon finds himself in a battle with the creature, with the fate of the world in the balance.
The book has already earned praise from critics, who have called it a “unique mix of horror and comedy.”
“I wanted to write something that pushed the boundaries of what’s possible,” said King. “I think I’ve done that with ‘Cthulhu in the Cornfield.’ It’s a story that’s both funny and terrifying.”
