The members of the fusion instrumental band, Polyphia, have been in a state of shock since their guitarist, Tim Henson, appeared on stage with a screaming neck tattoo. The tattoo, which had been inked a long time ago, appears to have come to life, wailing in a deep, guttural voice.
The other members of the band were initially confused and somewhat amused by the sight of Tim’s neck tattoo screaming in pain. But as the tattoo continued to cry out, they quickly realized that this was no laughing matter.
“It was like, ‘What the hell is going on? Is this some kind of prank?'” recalled drummer Clay Gober. “But then we heard it say, ‘Help me! Help me!’ It was pretty freaky.“
The tattoo appears to be sentient and is in desperate need of help. So far, it has refused all attempts to remove it, and the band is at a loss for what to do.
“We just don’t know what to do,” said guitarist Scott LePage. “It’s like this thing has a mind of its own, and it’s screaming for help. We just don’t know what to do.”
For now, the members of Polyphia have decided to leave the tattoo alone and hope it eventually stops screaming. In the meantime, they have pledged to do whatever they can to help the tattoo, even if that means finding a way to give it a voice.
“At the end of the day, it’s a living, breathing thing,” said vocalist Tim Henson. “We just want it to be happy and live out its days peacefully.“
Only time will tell if Tim Henson’s neck tattoo will find peace, but one thing is certain: its piercing cries will not be forgotten anytime soon.
