Despite overwhelming complaints from customers, Ticketmaster has announced that it will be adding even more fees to its ticket sales.
“We’ve heard you loud and clear on the fees, and we’re happy to announce that we’re adding even more of them just because we can,” a Ticketmaster spokesperson announced in a press conference.
According to sources, the new fees will include a “convenience fee for having to pay fees,” a “processing fee for processing the other fees,” and a “service fee for providing the service of charging you more money.”
The news has left many concert-goers outraged, with some calling for a boycott of Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation.
“I can’t believe they’re doing this. It’s like they’re trying to see how far they can push us before we give up,” said one music fan. “Well, I guess I’ll just have to buy my tickets in person from now on.“
But Ticketmaster is not backing down. The company has revealed that the new fees will apply to online and physical ticket sales, making it impossible for customers to avoid them.
“We understand that some customers may try to avoid the fees by buying tickets in person, but unfortunately, the fees will still apply. We’ve got to pay the bills somehow,” the spokesperson explained.
For its part, Ticketmaster has dismissed the complaints, saying that the new fees are necessary to cover the costs of providing a “high-quality ticket buying experience.”
“We’re just trying to give our customers the best service possible, and sometimes that means charging them more money for it,” the spokesperson said.
