In a shocking turn of events, King Charles (former Prince Charles) was found dead in his London residence yesterday, the cause of death determined to be embarrassment.
According to sources close to the royal family, in recent months, King Charles had struggled to come to terms with the antics of his youngest son, Prince Harry. From the bombshell Oprah interview to the revelation of the prince’s new career as a podcaster, Charles was said to be at the end of his rope.
“He just couldn’t take it anymore,” said a palace insider. “He would watch the news and just hang his head in shame. He would mutter things like, ‘Why couldn’t you have just been a normal prince?’ and ‘I can’t even show my face in public anymore’.“
The final straw came when Harry announced his latest venture: a vegan, eco-friendly toilet paper line. “Charles was beside himself,” said the insider. “He just couldn’t take the embarrassment any longer and he passed away quietly in his sleep.“
