It’s a day of celebration for fans of Guns n’ Roses and all of rock ‘n roll as the ghost of Slash’s guitar has finally ascended to the heavens after an impressive career of haunting.
The spirit, believed to have been around since the band’s inception in 1985, was known for causing various issues, including mysterious feedback, random tuning issues, and even some strange vocal effects.
“I’ve been dealing with this ghost for years,” said Slash. “It’s like it had a vendetta against me or something. I never knew what I was going to get when I plugged in my guitar. But now, I’m finally free of its influence!“
The ghost’s ascendance to rock ‘n roll heaven was witnessed by many at a recent Guns n’ Roses reunion show, where the ghost made a grand exit in a cloud of smoke and a shower of sparks.
“It was an incredible moment,” said one fan. “I’ve never seen anything like it. The crowd went wild as the ghost rose up into the sky. I know we’ll all miss it, but it’s a fitting send off for such a legendary spirit.“
Fans of the band were delighted by the news and expressed their joy in various ways. Some even said they felt a sense of closure as if a burden had been lifted and they could now truly enjoy the music without worrying about a haunting presence.
Slash is expected to take some time off to recover from the ghost’s departure and gear up for the band’s upcoming tour. Fans will surely hear the same classic riffs and solos but with one less mysterious guest causing chaos for Slash.
