Today marks the 78th birthday of legendary singer Rod Stewart and in order to ensure he has the best day possible, his friends have prepared something special. Instead of a classic birthday cake, they’ve decided to blend it up to make it easier for Stewart’s soft dentures to chew.
The cake was constructed by mixing together layers of chocolate and vanilla cake, a generous helping of frosting, and a few surprise ingredients. Stewart’s friends then combined the ingredients in a blender until it was smooth and creamy.
When it came time to serve the cake, Stewart was pleasantly surprised. “This is a great idea,” he said. “My dentures don’t always cooperate when I’m trying to eat cake, but this will make it a lot easier.”
Stewart’s friends also made sure that there were plenty of candles to ensure a proper birthday celebration. After blowing out the candles, Stewart took a sip of his blended cake and declared it delicious.
