Local rapper Pusha T was recently spotted at the airport trying to pass through security with a suspicious-looking bag. Witnesses report that he asked the couple in front of him to “run interference” by smuggling the bag through customs. Unfortunately, the bag aroused the suspicions of airport security, who then took an even closer look at the bag.
We were really scared at first
To the couple’s horror, they discovered that the bag contained not drugs or weapons but a large quantity of icing sugar. “We were really scared at first,” the couple explained, “we thought we were being set up by Pusha T! But then he told us it was icing sugar and we were relieved — although we were a bit confused as to why he had so much of the stuff.“
The couple was allowed to pass through security without further incident while Pusha T waited to explain his unusual request. After a brief interrogation, it was revealed that Pusha T was planning to use the icing sugar to bake a cake for his grandmother’s 90th birthday.
Needless to say, airport security was less than thrilled with Pusha T’s explanation. “Cake baking is a noble cause, but it is not an excuse to try and smuggle icing sugar through customs,” the security officer scolded.
Pusha T’s baking ambitions have landed him in hot water, and it looks like his grandmother’s birthday cake will have to wait another day. In the meantime, the rapper faces a hefty fine for his attempted sugar smuggling.
