Prince Harry has announced he will be taking the stage in a new Broadway musical titled ‘My Truth: The Musical’. The musical is set to debut in New York City this summer and will feature Harry speaking his ‘truth’ three times a night for the next 28 weeks.
The musical will be composed of songs and scenes from Harry’s life, beginning with his childhood and ending with his decision to step away from the Royal Family. Prince Harry has promised to open up about his life candidly and honestly and described the musical as an opportunity to be “truly authentic” and “speak my truth.”
When asked why he chose this unorthodox form of self-expression, Harry said: “I wanted to share my story in a way that felt true to me. Music has always been a powerful form of expression for me, and I felt this was the best way for me to get personal and be truly candid.“
The musical will feature a mix of original songs and covers of some of Harry’s favorite classics. Harry will also be accompanied on stage by a full band, a team of backup dancers, and a rumored guest appearance from his beloved wife, Meghan Markle, who will speak her truth too.
