Prince Andrew, Duke of York, was reportedly left feeling a little uneasy this morning when he noticed the terms ‘pizza’, ‘Andrew’ and ‘human trafficking’ had started trending on Twitter. After a brief period of panic, the prince was relieved to learn that the discussion was not about him but rather centred on Andrew Tate, who is currently detained in Romania over rape and human trafficking allegations.
The prince was said to be concerned, given the recent controversy surrounding his connections to the late Jeffrey Epstein, who had been accused of human trafficking and other crimes.
Prince Andrew claimed in an interview that he cannot sweat, but a royal source claims Andrew was visibly sweaty: “He was sweating buckets when he saw those words trending. He had to check the timeline several times to make sure it wasn’t about him. It looked like he had just run a marathon.“
The relief was also felt by the prince’s PR team, who, according to sources, had come up with a plan of action in case the trending topics did turn out to be about the Duke of York.
“We had a plan in case it was about Andrew,” said the royal source. “We were going to start trending ‘#PizzaGate’ and ‘#PrinceNotAPerpetrator’ and then set up a #PrinceAndrewFacts hashtag with a list of all the good things he has done. We also had a list of tweets ready to go that we were going to send from his official account. It was a close call!”
A few hours after the calming news, Prince Andrew was spotted at his favorite pizza restaurant, where he celebrated with a large pepperoni and extra cheese.
