In a shocking turn of events, NPR was forced to apologize after a Tiny Desk Concert with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones went awry.
The performance was meant to be a lighthearted, entertaining segment featuring the popular radio personality, but things quickly got out of hand.
The show started out normally enough, with Jones playing some of his greatest hits such as “The Sandy Hook Hoax” and “The Federal Reserve is a Scam.”
In the middle of his set, Jones began wildly ranting about chemtrails and the New World Order, eventually leading to a shouting match with the audience.
The audience was stunned into silence as Jones began to rant about chemtrails and the New World Order. He even went so far as to call President Obama a puppet of the Illuminati and called Hillary Clinton a demon.
At one point, Jones even threatened to jump onto the desk and start a physical altercation with the moderator. The crowd, initially confused but seemingly intrigued, quickly began to flee in terror as Jones shouted about the “Deep State” and began throwing the desk itself.
Fortunately, security intervened and removed him from the stage before any physical harm was done.
In response, NPR released a statement apologizing for the incident and saying that they “should have known better” than to invite Jones on the show. They also said that they would be instituting stricter vetting procedures for future guests to ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again.
