HOLLYWOOD, CA – In a move that has left audiences everywhere scratching their heads, renowned filmmaker Michael Bay has announced that he will be directing a big-budget adaptation of the beloved British television series, “Peaky Blinders.”
“I just love the gritty, realistic feel of ‘Peaky Blinders,'” said Bay, speaking to reporters at a recent press conference. “I mean, who wouldn’t want to see a bunch of working-class thugs blowing things up in slow motion? It’s like a dream come true.“
According to Bay, the film will feature even more explosions and slow-motion gunfire than his previous films and will also include “lots of hot chicks running around in tight clothing.”
“We’re going to take the gritty realism of the show and crank it up to 11,” said Bay. “We’re talking Matrix-level slow-motion here, folks. It’s going to be epic.”
Despite the fact that the “Peaky Blinders” series is known for its strong performances and complex characters, Bay has stated that the film will focus primarily on “the cool stuff,” such as car chases, shootouts, and “lots of things blowing up real good.”
Many fans of the show are outraged at the announcement, with many taking to social media to express their disappointment. But Bay remains unphased.
