Lars Ulrich, the outspoken drummer of heavy metal band Metallica, has filed a lawsuit against the entire universe for copyright infringement.
In a press conference held outside his Beverly Hills mansion, Ulrich declared that he was taking on the entire universe to protect his beloved band’s intellectual property.
“My band has been around for decades, and we have worked hard to create music that is unique and special,” said Ulrich. “But now, elements of our music can be found everywhere. From the birds chirping in the morning to the waves crashing against the shore, all of this is copyright infringement and I intend to take legal action against the entire universe.“
Ulrich went on to say that he was seeking financial compensation and recognition for his band’s contribution to the musical landscape.
“My band has been overlooked and underrated for far too long,” said Ulrich. “By taking on the universe, I am hoping to not only gain recompense for our losses, but also the respect and recognition we deserve.“
When asked how he planned to prove his case, Ulrich said that he was confident that the court would side with him and that he had a “strong case” against the universe.
The case is expected to be heard sometime in the near future, and the entire universe is on edge to see what will happen.
