Environmental activist Greta Thunberg has become the first woman to have multiple tweets with at least 3 million likes. Both Tweets were criticising faux alpha male Andrew Tate. Everyone has been celebrating the milestone. Well, almost everyone.
The most vocal response to this news came from none other than Jennifer Lawrence, who took to Twitter to claim that she was the first woman to have achieved this feat.
“I was the first woman to have multiple tweets with at least 3 million likes,” Lawrence tweeted. “It’s time to give the credit where credit is due.”
But her claim was quickly disputed by many Twitter users, who argued that Thunberg was the one who actually achieved the feat.
“Um, no, it was Greta Thunberg,” one user wrote. “You need to give credit where credit is due.“
Lawrence’s tweet may have been met with a number of rebuttals, but it did not stop Thunberg from celebrating her success. She took to Twitter to show her appreciation to her supporters.
“Thank you to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey,” she wrote. “Your support means the world to me and I’m humbled by your kindness.”
