Ice T, the legendary rapper and actor, confused a live audience last night when he mistook his live performance for the set of the popular TV show Law and Order.
The rapper, who has been acting for over three decades, was mid-verse when he suddenly stopped the music and began interrogating a fan in the audience. Ice T asked the fan some questions, in his best Detective Fin Tutuola impression and grabbing him by his shirt as he promised “the scumbag would be going down” before realizing his mistake.
The audience was left in shock and laughter as Ice T laughed off his blunder and continued the show.
“Well, this has definitely been a unique experience,” Ice T said to the bewildered crowd. “I thought I was on the set of Law and Order, but this is definitely a concert. I apologise to the fan I interrogated, although they seemed to enjoy it.“
Ice T finished the show, to the audience’s delight. However, the rapper’s blunder certainly gave the crowd a unique and unexpected experience.
It’s unclear why Ice T mistook his live performance for the set of the popular TV show; however, the rapper has been known to make the occasional slip-up during performances.
Regardless, it’s safe to say that this isn’t the last time Ice T will be confusing his live performances with the set of Law and Order.
