The highly anticipated new album by Gorillaz, Cracker Island, has left me wanting more. A notable lack of food, and even fewer crackers, has left my ravenous appetite unsatisfied.
Gorillaz’s unique blend of obscure electronic instrumentals and alternative rock has been a hit with critics and fans alike, but this latest offering fails to live up to expectations. While the music is undeniably catchy, it’s hard to ignore the conspicuous absence of crackers.
This album is not for the faint of heart. Tracks such as “Cracker Island” and “Tarantula’” tease the listener with their delicious sounding titles, but leave the listener wanting more. The absence of a crunchy texture and salty seasoning leaves much to be desired.
On the plus side, the album does contain some interesting electronic samples and interesting soundscapes. But ultimately, these elements are overshadowed by the lack of crackers.
Overall, Cracker Island is a letdown, and I can’t help but feel hungry after listening to it. The music is enjoyable, but it’s hard to overlook the conspicuous absence of crackers. For fans of Gorillaz, this album may be worth a listen, but for those looking for a crunchy snack, this album will leave them disappointed.

I can send you some crackers to listen with the album if you want. Only thing is they’re not that crunchy.
