Chris Martin from Coldplay has announced his departure from the band to focus on his passion for knitting.
Martin says, “The reason for the big change in my life all stems from being upset because my parents won’t let me play out side in the winter. Seeing my friends from my bedroom window playing outside and making snowmen, I really wanted to join in and play too but I wasn’t allowed.”
Martin continues, “I am making this easy decision to leave Coldplay and start selling knitted jumpers under the brand name Cold-Play”
Coldplay has posted a statement on their Facebook page following the announcement of Martin’s departure.
Coldplay states that they will continue without Chris Martin and have promised even more colourful light-up wristbands at their live shows to make their already entertaining show more entertaining.
