It has been revealed that Australian metalcore band Alpha Wolf has been lying to its fans about the true identities of its members. Despite years of claiming to be “real wolves,” the band’s lead vocalist and all of its members are in fact human.
“We can’t believe we fell for this,” said long-time Alpha Wolf fan, Jane Smith. “We thought they were real wolves. We even bought wolf costumes to wear to their concerts. We feel like such fools.”
The band, known for their hit songs “Howl at the Moon” and “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing,” has been deceiving their fans for years with their elaborate wolf costumes and stage performances.
Upon further investigation, Australia does not even have wolves, adding to the evidence pile that the Aussie metalcore band are human.
“We thought it would be a fun gimmick,” said band member, John Doe. “But it’s just gotten out of hand. We never expected it to become such a big part of our image and identity.”
The band has issued an apology to their fans, promising to be more honest in the future. However, fans are not satisfied with the apology and have taken to social media to express their disappointment.
“Just found out Alpha Wolf isn’t a real wolf band #heartbroken #betrayed“, an ex-fan Tweeted. “Alpha Wolf’s apology is just howling in the wind #notgoodenough #stillfooled“, another Tweeted. “I’m gonna listen to real wolves now, not some human band pretending to be wolves #overit #notcool“, another ex-fan Tweeted.
Whether Alpha Wolf survives this controversy, remains to be seen. But, it’s all out in the air now. The band can try and move past this, or end up cancelled like the other fictitious animal bands before them. Your move, Alpha Wolf.
