Popular Latin music artist, Bad Bunny, has just solidified his name in the minds of his fans with a phone-throwing incident in the Dominican Republic.
The incident occurred yesterday as the artist was walking through the streets, and a fan approached him, putting a phone in his face. Bad Bunny was apparently not in the mood to take pictures because he responded by snatching the phone from the fan’s hands and throwing it across the street. He emphasised, “I’m called Bad Bunny, not Good Bunny, bitch.“,
Little did Bad Bunny know that his throw would end in tragedy, as the phone flew through the air and, sadly, struck a small bird. The bird, likely minding its own business, died on the spot. The fan was upset and tried to confront Bad Bunny about his bizarre behavior. However, Bad Bunny was unapologetic and said, “I warned you. Bad Bunny, not Good Bunny.“
The fan was apparently unharmed from the incident but was obviously taken aback. A bystander reported they were shocked by Bad Bunny’s actions and said the fan was “lucky to be alive.” the same thing cannot be said about the defenceless little bird Bad Bunny killed.
However, the fan whose phone was thrown was not as surprised as everyone else. She told reporters, “I knew he was bad, but I didn’t think he was THIS bad.“
The rapper has since apologized for his actions, saying he “did not intend to hurt anyone or anything.” However, many people still call for him to be held responsible for his actions, with some even suggesting that he be charged with animal cruelty.
Only time will tell what will happen to the rapper, but one thing is certain: he may have been called Bad Bunny, but this incident proves he is far worse.
