Rock band Rage Against The Machine, who has long been known for their politically-charged anthems and anti-establishment lyrics, have recently been seen raging for the machine after selling out.
The band, who is notoriously critical of corporate greed and big business, was recently spotted performing at a corporate conference for a large tech company. Sources at the conference report that the band was in full force with their classic anti-establishment lyrics, but with a twist – they were now praising the company, singing about how great the company’s products were and how it was making the world a better place.
The band’s frontman, Zack de la Rocha, was seen high-fiving and hugging executives at the conference, telling them how great their products were and how much he supported the company. As the band finished their performance, Tom Morello’s guitar tech was seen carrying a large briefcase of money in a guitar case to their tour limousine.
The band has been tight-lipped about the incident, but sources close to the band have said they have been offered a large sum of money to perform at the corporate event and couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
It’s unclear if the band will continue to rage against the machine after this or if this was a one-off performance for the money. However, one thing is for sure – Rage Against The Machine has definitely sold out.
