It’s that time of year again, and all the Christmas music is flooding the airwaves. But there’s two artists that’s are making a list and checking it twice…Michael Buble and Mariah Carey.
The two have reportedly sent out their own version of the Christmas Mafia, a group of bodyguards and goons, to any artist that attempts to release a Christmas song in December. The duo are said to be very protective of their Christmas music and want to make sure that no one else is able to join in on the holiday fun.
The Christmas Mafia is said to be quite intimidating. They are dressed in all black and carry large sacks of coal and mistletoe. They have even been known to burst into radio stations and demand that the radio DJ stop playing any other Christmas songs and only play music by Buble and Carey.
It seems like no one is safe from the Christmas Mafia and that any artist that attempts to put out a Christmas song in December will be met with a swift and painful punishment. So, if you’re thinking about releasing a Christmas song in December, you might want to think twice!
